If you are copy / pasting an image in Adobe Acrobat and it pastes with a black background when it should have been something else, please try the following:

• In Adobe Acrobat, click Edit on the toolbar on the top of the screen and select Preferences
• In Preferences, select Security (Enhanced) from the Categories list
• Find Enable Protected Mode at startup (Preview) and uncheck it (if it isn't). A confirmation message will appear asking if your sure. Select Yes.
• Find Protected View and set it to Off (if it isn't already)
• Find Enable Enhanced Security and uncheck it (if it isn't).
• Click OK on the bottom-right of the Preferences screen
• Close Adobe then re-open it.
• Try to copy and paste into your PDF.
